Interview Questions

Getting ready for your prep day tomorrow, I searched for a bunch of questions to ask people.  Here is what I came up with or found...

How does the media affect your view on your body?

Do you ever feel insecure about your body when talking to people you consider to be attractive?

Would you ever surgically change a part of your body to match a friend/celebrity because you thought it looked attractive on them?

What is your definition of 'sexy'?
....'beautiful'?

If you could change one thing about your physical appearance, what would it be?

How do you FEEL after watching a commercial, movie, or advertisement that portrays flawless, skinny models or actresses?

How has the media pressure affected the way you feel about your body?

What are some things you have done in the past in order to fit with society's standards of body image?

Have you ever thought about turning to bulimia or anorexia or taking any other measure to become an ideal weight?

Do you like your body?

Are you pressured by the media to be skinny?

What’s your earliest negative memory of body image (yours or another persons)?

What’s your earliest positive memory of body image (yours or another persons)?

Describe your body:

When it comes to dressing your body, what’s your motto? What rules do you swear by– or don’t you abide?

Are you happy? What’s that mean for you? Could you be happier?

When I looked in the mirror, what’s the first thought I had?
