Ever had this feeling?

Brad Pitt's Love

BRAD PITT ABOUT HIS WIFE :
My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and children. She lost 30 pounds and weighted about 90 pounds. She got very skinny and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the mornings and got tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of a break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role. I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon… But then I decided to act. After all I’ve got the most beautiful woman on earth. She is the idol of more than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall asleep next to her and to hug her. I began to shower her with flowers, kisses and compliments. I surprised and pleased her every minute. I gave her a lot of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends. You won’t believe it, but she blossomed. She became better. She gained weight, was no longer nervous and loved me even more than ever. I had no clue that she CAN love that much.
And then I realized one thing: the woman is the reflection of her man.
If you love her to the point of madness, she will become it.

.... Now I'm not one to normally talk about celebrities but this struck a cord with me.  Sometimes you just have to really try. Relationships are a two way street, you have to give and not just take.

Plus I thought this was really cute :)

Thoreau says it perfectly...

Accomplice Review

So, in my spare time, I have been trying to read more and hope to read quite a bit this summer for my own pleasure as well as my class requirements... But the first book I picked up was Accomplice by Eireann Corrigan.

Set around the present, two best friends, Chloe and Finn, strive to show colleges that they are special.  They are in ASB and FFA...  They take part in volunteering...  They get good grades...  But is that special enough?  How else can they be noticed by colleges?

Simple...  Fake an abduction.

Finn and Chloe decide to stage an elaborate abduction that would guarantee their spot in any college.  Chloe stays in Finn's grandmother's vacant basement for a few things as America searches for her but as time goes on, life gets complicated for Finn... Not only does Finn have to lie to the police, she has to lie to Chloe's parents and watch them consider all the possibilities of what happened to Chloe.  She also has to keep quiet as one of their friends gets called into questioning...

I won't give up the ending but it is definitely a good book.  It really show the lengths people go to in order to stand out to colleges. And in a way can't we all somehow relate to this?  We all are looking to stand out to colleges (probably not going to go as far as Chloe and Finn).  We all know the stress they are under because lets face it, we are under the same exact stress.

Chalk Fun

We all know about the chalk festival Righetti holds but what if we did something like this?  This would be so insanely fun! Realistically, we would have to set up a lot of precautions to be able to do this but this would be really awesome if we could do this...  Another fundraiser?

Father's Day Love

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he believed in me.
 Jim Valvano quotes

This couldn't be any more true.  I love my daddy with all my heart.  I am so blessed to have such a wonderful father.  He is my friend, my coach, and my dad, too.  Wishing all the other amazing fathers out there a wonderful day!

Which is worse?

I’m not sure which is worse: intense feeling, or the absence of it.

Feminism

So many people in society think "feminism" is a dirty word.  It's one that is so completely frowned upon but really shouldn't be.  The definition alone shows that it is just stating equality for women.

Definition of FEMINISM

1
: the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes
2
: organized activity on behalf of women's rights and interests

Unfortunately, when you really think about our society and our world, we might need a little feminism.
Take a look at this page on Facebook, you might just see the world in a whole new perspective.     Cambridge Needs Feminism.

Because when you really think about it, our world isn't equal.

Possible Fundraiser?

I saw this on my tumblr newsfeed and thought this was hilarious!
A school made a fundraiser for a dollar per strip of duct tape... The guy in the picture is the principal of the school!  Think we could raise any money?
